Keep high standards of integrity even when leadership is low!

Since January 20th, 2017 our country has been experiencing a major crisis in leadership. Leadership on all levels now seems to be demonstrating to the nation that it is profitable to be a liar and have have no sense of integrity. Truth is the enemy of bigotry, collusion, theft and murder. The current leadership has agreed that it is easier for them to lie, steal, kill and destroy than to spread love, hope and life.

Though this toxic environment of American political culture seems to have come into a fever pitch era of existence, this is the time for those of us who strive to live in truth, to dig our heels further into the solid ground of integrity. We have to not only continue to live our lives in truth, but we must have the courage to speak truth to power in professionalism and yes...love.

During these times of shaky commitment to anything, there certainly can be a price to be paid for having a high sense of integrity. However, in order to live a life worth living in dignity, integrity and love, we must continue to be true to ourselves in everything we do and not be afraid speak up professionally and intelligently EVERY TIME we are called to do so. Being silent in the face of ignorance and dishonesty causes us to suffer more than those that perpetrate it.
